Our Non-Profit
The Jeanerette Landmark Society was chartered in September 2002 and is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. As the landscape of Jeanerette was changing precious landmarks were being lost. A group of community leaders decided to create the society to preserve, restore, and maintain our heritage.

Historic Hewes Home
The Landmark Society, and it's donors, have invested over $450k restoring the Harry B. Hewes home for special event rentals and have a busy rental calendar. Money generated from venue rentals help to maintain and preserve the home for generations to come.
